Daniel Muriel participated as an invited speaker in the Jornades sobre Indie Games i Cultura Contemporània del Videojoc, held at Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, with the talk “The indie ethics of the video game and the new spirit of capitalism”.
The presentation addressed indie discourse in contemporary video games, focusing on its imaginaries of authorship, creativity, precarity, cultural critique and articulation with new forms of subjectivity and work in contemporary capitalism.
