On 5 June 2018, I participated in the seminar “Work culture, gamification, and video games” organised by the research group MEDIUM from the Pompeu Fabra University (Barcelona, Spain) and the collective ArsGames. The seminar was part of the Interuniversitary Nomad Series of ArsGames, which seeks  to foster the academic debate among those interested in researching video games at different levels: cultural, artistic, political, and social. I was in the roundtable “Gamification, video games, and ideology”, where I shared the table with Mercè Oliva from the Pompeu Fabra University. My presentation was entitled “The ontopolitics of video games: neoliberalism, design of experiences, and videoludification of the social”.
